When Should I Prune Hydrangeas?
This is a question we are often asked. Hydrangeas are beautiful, but pruning them at the wrong time can mean fewer flowers the following year. The key is knowing which type you have. Mophead & Lace Cap (shown below top left and bottom left image) These are the classic rounded or flat-headed hydrangeas. Mopheads look more compact, woody and glossy.
