Paul Johnson Garden Design is a family business run by Paul and Lucy Johnson, based in Alnwick, Northumberland.  Since 2009, they have been creating gardens that are not only beautiful and practical, but also places of calm, connection, and wellbeing.

 

Paul, a landscape designer, horticulturist, and gardener, gained his BA Hons in Garden Design at the renowned Hadlow College and Greenwich University, London. With his background in photography and design, Paul brings a strong eye for detail and creativity to every project.

 

Lucy is a self-taught designer, gardener, and horticulturist whose passion for plants, sustainability, and wildlife ensures that every project enhances the natural world as well as the lives of their clients.

Their approach is both creative and collaborative, working closely with clients to ensure that every garden reflects their lifestyle and preferences while sitting effortlessly within its surroundings.

Passionate about the power of nature, Paul and Lucy believe gardens are more than outdoor spaces — they are places that restore balance, inspire joy, and nurture wellbeing.

 

Inspired daily by the landscape around them, they are dedicated to using beautiful plants, thoughtful design, and natural, sustainable products to create gardens that truly enhance the lives of their clients.
